Award Criteria

• Applicant must be an individual (woman business owner) NAWBO Chicago Area Chapter member in good standing for at least 3 years.
• Nominee must be recognized as a successful entrepreneur and have actively promoted small business/entrepreneurship.
• Nominee should be noted for outstanding achievement.
• Nominee should exhibit role model qualities including community service, business acumen, and the ability to overcome obstacles.
• Award winner must be able to attend the Annual Achievement Luncheon, on April 19, 2012 at the Chicago Hilton and Towers Hotel.

Application Instructions

Your completed application package should consist of:

1. A photograph of yourself, electronic image (.jpg) preferred.
2. Answers to the questions listed HERE, with responses limited to one page or less per question.
3. “Woman Business Owner of the Year Application” in the subject line of your email submission.

Your completed application package must be sent in electronic format (Word or .pdf file) as an email attachment to info@nawbochicago.org.

Applications must arrive at the NAWBO office no later than Friday, February 24, 2012.
